Hey!

I wanted to entirely clean my cassette and after removing the lock-nut I noticed that it was stuck on the hub; I did managed to get it of the hub using a little bit more force but the free hub body is damaged, as I expected the cogs dug into the splines and damaged the freehub body; Now what can I do with this? My rear hub is a dt 340 and the cassette is sram made; which component can I blame ? It's the first time I'm removing this cassette as I got my bike this summer so no Idea how it was installed before... Very frustrating.. Really Mad

Anyway; thanks for the help! Big Grin

that's happen with aluminum driver, it should still be usable. it's preferable to use cassette with carrier (first 6 or 7 gear are in 1 block instead of all separate).

if you don't want that to happen you should choose hub with stainless steel or titanium driver.
