i mean to the comment "DHF super tacky front and rear" I disagree strongly

I don't think these hold very well in the hardpack/dry over loose conditions very well.

They stick well on the roots and rocks but on everything else it seems less reliable.

Any experience with Ardent or highroller? Especially the highroller 2, I'm wondering how that rides
Then you should ask yourself if you ride them correctly Razz you really need to lean on the outer knobs to have grip, there is a transition area between the middle and outer knobs on the DHF.

at least 80% of world cup DHers go for that combo front and rear and they don't seem to complain.

I know I just don't know why I hate it.

I'm currently riding a high roller front and an ardent rear (both 2.5 3C)

And i really like it, it's a super predictable combo with LOTS of cornering bite when leaned over.

I was just thinking about that combo. But I thought the ardent was only made up to 2.4?

I might get a highroller II and an ardent rear

The ardent comes in 2.6, but it's a 2.5 casing...

the tire size is called a 2.6 but it's the same tire as a 2.5 but the tread is a little wider

If you hate riding with Minions you will dispise high rollers unless you're riding in dust.

I run muddy maries front and rear and I love em

I rode a lot of dusty loose over hard stuff and thats where the minion kind of sucked IMO

highroller did much better

what conditions would you say the minion is better in vs the highroller?

Panaracer Rampage 2.3 on front and back.... Also liked their DH tires.. However, hard to get off and on the rim...

the minion is better in dryer, harder terrain.

IMO the high roller gets better in the more loose stuff
