Thanks, but actually Nobble said that. I'm not as knowledgeable on that topic as he is. Salute

Looks great! Tried it with 29er wheels yet?

don't do it, it will feel great in small bumps but you won't have the bottom out resistance that the bike is supposed to have from the air shock ramping up.

I don't know why so many people just throw coil shocks at things without taking their bikes kinematics into consideration. Very few bikes would benefit from it these days. A lot have some sort of falling leverage ratio to offset the ramp from an air shock. Put a coil shock in there and you will blow through travel.

I'm in the opposite position with my Tracer, I'm considering switching my DHX2 for the Float X2.

well the Float X2 is the best air shock I have ever used. Im just wondering what my bike would ride like with a coil, especially for Alps trips etc

For linear and regressive kinematics, air shocks will almost always perform better, while on progressive kinematics coils are amazing.

My initial plan was to have an extra set of 29ers but after riding it with 27.5+ wheels I would be really reluctant to change them because they roll really well and the traction on the trails is so much better.

meta v4. check shock. it took a few ours but it fits and yes its on backwards. but the perfomance gained by this shock outweights the potencial cavitation risk by far..

Holy seatpost!!!!

And do you get nose bleeds when you fully extend your seatpost?
