I would rock a fundamental for 26" if you go that way . just because the geo of 26" on a 24" is not soo forgiving and your foot hits the front tire. 165 cranks kind of blow too. really bad for when you need that torque 170 is bad enough . For now on I will run 175 or 180's like I am now.
Got question. Has anyone had a quark stem then switched to a bmx 48-50mm? Just wondering is there a benefit from it. Thinking it would give a bit longer feel up front and help with jumping since the bike is soo compact. Have a hard time pulling up off the trans and it feels like the bike is right there before I leave the lip.
this is my old one, cant even remember the year? i bought the frame new along with many other parts.rode it for 15 minutes on a dry day at my local trails and then sold it! worst decision ever!,i then sold it for a silly low price, the new owner was a lucky guy
Well Since I started this for set up and product news . He is an interesting find. Cult BMX and salt have dropped a new chain that has gone unnoticed in the 1/8 chain wars. Here is the P121 HD. Basically its a khe collapse or whippermann IG8 in half link form. Great if you run an 8t driver or have a 9t , want to run something stronger than a 510HD and slam your rear. The design brings back the bushing and uses thicker plates making a chain the links won't snap or links that come apart within a short period on extreme usage .
