Yeah I will, I don't know when I'll be able to get the BB and cranks though, I'm going to check my LBS for them but might have to get them off danscomp. Stay subscribed to this thread and I'll update it when I get the parts but I'm not in a rush because I have a Canadian winter ahead of me for the next 4 months, lol. Just making sure these are the right cranks right? http://www.danscomp.com/products-PARTS-CRANKS/452505/Redline_Device_Cranks.html should I get them in 175mm or 180mm what do you have, and do you need a crank arm removal tool for these? And BB: http://www.danscomp.com/456056.php?cat=PARTS# in American 19mm.

All mid bbs have that. My Sunday has that. You can still put sealed bearings in though? Lol. And Yes those are the right cranks and American BB. Devices are the best cranks you can get for 100$ lol. They're nice.

You'll need something like this
http://www.customriders.com/prodshow.asp?prodid=13339&cat=8&parent=1001&sid=3

And new cranks, if your on a budget, i suggest united value cranks, only £100, very light

That bottom bracket is the same as the one in the link I posted American 19mm, and I'm going to get redline device cranks I've heard nothing but great reviews on them!

should I order a crank tool with them or are they easy to take off with proper greasing when I install them?

They're easy. I use a socket extension and put it against the spindle and tap it out of the arm. You could if you wanted, but you don't need one.

the tool (of the cranks are 48 splined) come with the cranks USUALLY... with proper greasing its fairly easy i usually dont grease mine and have to use the press in my shop to remove them but grease helps

why not just use grease? Facepalm

Posted: Dec 9, 2011 at 14:28 Quote
wow. Eek it takes less than a second. literally.

I've got a massive can of moly grease that I use for everything. Just coat the spindle lightly with it, and bam, no seizing problems. And actually not a lot of cranks come with a tool.
