baby oil is likely to seal the frame so that the aluminum doesn't start to oxidize.
you can always build the bike, and seal it afterwards.

I need a bit of help. I have a black market kill switch (I posted it a few pages back) I did a really good job at polishing it up, however the shine will quickly fade then I'll have to go over it again with another coat of Mothers. How do I prevent this from happening? Should I give it a few coats of clear coat or what?

Not sure if I ever posted my frame when I stripped it. Here is what it looks like before I rawed it.

God damn that is good.....

any tips on rawing? I'm about to raw a DJ frame

I used the paint stripper that comes in a can for most of it then I used the paste/glue for the tighter sections. Get a few steel wire brushes as they might bend or fray. And gloves, if you get paint stripper on your skin... game over. I got a little bit in my eye and it burned. Those are just the basic essentials to rawing a frame, good luck.

cheers- the eye sounds nasty Eek

after it's been rawed does one need to polish it? or is raw good enough

I like polished aluminum! Dull just looks nasty, but steel looks decent either way
