I have a b1 reverb on my other bike for over 2 years, no rebuilds no ussues. But surely we can recognize these magic flawless reverbs are an exception and not the norm.

So.. buy any dropper you like then?, it's all pot luck lol

We all know they can and do fail, some more than others. Can only imagine the nightmare of being new to MTB - at least a lot of bikes come with one from the off

Never had any issues with Thomson to date .. but, ain't gonna be a cheap fix

Anyway, what's the lightest dropper inclusive of levers etc?

Back on track..

KS LEV CI is going to be the lightest dropper when it drops (pun intended). Probably around 100g weight savings over a regular LEV.

Actually my Thomson needs a rebuild. Gonna be almost $200 USD...

Fairly impressive ^

Nothing sub 400g? No interest in less than 100mm drop

....
What about 150mm dropper's? 500g+?

No clue. It's actually $165 plus tax and shipping costs. I'm pondering on just getting a brand new 9.8 or DVO Garnet. I'd hate to spend the money on a 4 year old post and it happens again, when I can spend a little more on a brand new post.

Same here. Never again. Not recommended.

It worked very well, then eventually became slow to return. No way to service yourself, nobody does it for cheap.
