Hey guys,
I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm trying to collect data on 650b(27.5in) wheel diameters in order to compare with 26in and 29in wheels.
What I'd like to ask you to do is to measure the diameter of your wheels in inches or mm and then post them here along with tire brand, name and size eg Schwalbe Hans Damf 27.5x2.35 Xmm/Xin

My own data so far with 26/24in DH tires:
Intense Intruder 26x2.5 Diameter 685mm//27.0in
Schwalbe Muddy Mary 26x2.5 690mm/27.2in
Duro Leopard 24x3.0 655mm/25.8in
Hutchinson DZO 26x2.6 690mm/27.2in
Specialized Chunder 26x2.3 680mm/26.8in

Why am I doing this? Well I want to find out which MTB wheel size is closer to MX wheel diameter (which range from 26-28.4in)

I just ordered up an Intense Carbine 275, it'll be running in 26" form for the time being until money arrives for the conversion Big Grin very excited.

While I'm here, a question about it. It does of course run a 142x12 rear end, but doesn't come with an axle, what can people recommend me? Looking on CRC and so on, for a bit of metal they seem really rather expensive, even compared to normal stuff.
Regardless - advice is needed, help!

I think I'll convert MY Firebird soon to 650b. Although I am thinking about buying a new bike altogether. The mach 6 look awesome but it's 12mm less in travel and I really want a bike I can Downhill with. I thnk the best options right now are the range killer b, the mach 6 and maybe the gt force. What else do you think? The thing about the FB is that I foun it to be trail numbing as opposed to the lively feel of the spesh enduro I tried. My problem with spesh is it's a big brand so If it break I have to wait a bunch of time to replace it an dcustomer service is not that great,

I've Been tossing the Idea of 650ing my heckler. But I think I rather save for a solo. Idk if I want to do a frame up build or just get the bike and sell the stuff I don't want.

Yes it did and didn't. They have expanded the offerings, and there are some Carbon options. The Carbon bikes are .5degree slacker in the head tube
