So pissed with my truck. Have a really annoying pop out the exhaust intermittently. Only on the one side too. Gonna try a couple things tomorrow.

Rather have traction bars because visible and cool factor, plus I can build them to bolt on to the u-bolts rather than f*cking with a rear pivot point on the leafs.

but but... then truck will ride really rough. and wont let suspension work?

I did a shackleflip and removed the factory lift blocks.. so far no axle hop, but I doubt I make the same HP/TQ as you

Suspension will work fine, traction bars will have johnny joints to allow it to swing/move about.

You don't have any blocks, the tendency to wrap is a lot less.

I assume you're doing ladder bars? There's a lot more to it than just "bar from axle to fram, done". Different angles will dictate how they act. Sounds like you're naking something closer to caltrac bars.

Nope, just a single bar. Heim joints on each end. Bars long enough to match driveshaft angle. Not too hard and keeps the ass end planted/keeps away axle wrap and wheel hop.
