Rather have traction bars because visible and cool factor, plus I can build them to bolt on to the u-bolts rather than f*cking with a rear pivot point on the leafs.

I assume you're doing ladder bars? There's a lot more to it than just "bar from axle to fram, done". Different angles will dictate how they act. Sounds like you're naking something closer to caltrac bars.
Nope, just a single bar. Heim joints on each end. Bars long enough to match driveshaft angle. Not too hard and keeps the ass end planted/keeps away axle wrap and wheel hop.
