I am looking into getting a new gravity bike for the 2013 season. I don't race at all and generally try to have as much flow and fun as possible on the trail. I enjoy the ability to change lines quickly, bunnyhop, table, and whip.
So here is the question... Should I get into a full downhill bike or will I have more fun on a long-travel freeride rig?
I would love to get some opinions.
Cheers!

What's your budget? complete bike or frame only?

My budget is pretty flexible. I'll do frame only so I can hang all my choice parts on it

I've got the Stumpjumper fsr fox in the front and back and its amazing. She rides pretty closely to a downhill bike when you set her up the right way.

I went through a similar dilemma recently, decided on an Intense Uzzi (currently waiting on frame and a slew of other parts) Smile

Transition TR250
Adjustable chain stays,
adjustable rear shock 6", 7"
Adjustable head angle

For me anyway, perfect freeride/DH bike.
