I've been eyeing a 160mm+ All mountain bike as an Enduro racer and Mini-DH bike, but I can't quite determine what the difference between these "styles" of bikes are. I've seen Enduro bikes with 180mm forks, and I've seen mini-dh bikes based off of 160mm bikes (like the Enduro, Slash, Reign, Slayer, Etc)

Any opinions of what defines a super-enduro (an enduro bike with more travel) and a mini-dh (dh bike with less travel)?

I could be off, but I believe it's two things. First enduro's are geared for better climbing and for long pedaling distance than the dh rigs and a Mini DH is geared the same as a regular DH, no climbing is accounted for. Second, Mini DH, is to be a light weight DH, racing where you just don't need that as much travel as a full on DH gives you.

So would a Enduro bike with 160mm rear suspension be adequate for mini-dh or as a park bike?

yes. you may have to regear it/ put a chain guide on.
