Are superstar components good compare to hope and other leading names?

hi would like your advice on this. becouse i really like the look of superstar components they look good quality. but not as pricey as hope and others are their components as good as they say? cheers.

They shouldn't be any worse than most others, it'll be the same quality level as Novatec and such, as I believe they come from the same factories (depending on the component, of course), and they're very common in czech where they seem to be considered quite reliable. Hope is of course a safe bet, usually will end up lighter and such, but if you're looking for a cheaper option, I'm sure superstar is a good choice.

i am going to be putting the components on a orange hardtail so they should be ok shouldnt they i think all the bits look really nice even the wheels so ?

I use super star parts for about 9 months now and I highly recommend them , I have one of their headsets , saddle posts , brake pads , rotors , grips and handle bars , all of them have worked perfectly and all for a good price.

Superstar are good, Hope and the like are very good but neither are exceptional when considering weight, cost, reliability all together and I personally wouldn't buy either. But then I am a bike snob and like to hunt around for the best deal Big Grin

I persoanlly feel you are better off hunting for bargains on the best components but then many other are happy with Superstar. I would steer clear of the hubs and wheels based on firends experiences and the many internet reviews but most other parts seems fine.

Hi, are you guys able to tell me whether or not both Hope and Superstar have the same colour orange anodizing? I was hoping to mix and match some parts but don't want the colour to clash
