rode at timberline today awesome. I got a buddy that rode there a few years ago and said it was nothing special.Well it is now.I have probably ridden snowshoe close to 20 times and timberline challenged me in ways snowshoe doesnt.not saying one is better but timberline is different If you havent ridden timberline you should treat youself to a day of more natural technical DH

Agreed. Rode there last year and aside from the slower lifts, it's a great place to ride with a good owner that's willing to talk about the trails and their characteristics. Heck, it's close enough to most Mid-Atlantic locations to make a day trip from places like central VA or MD and it's not as bloody expensive as Snowshoe. Call it "old school" DH, more natural terrain that I really enjoyed.

I just checked out Timberline last month. I liked it so much I had to go back again.
Definitely the place to go for steep technical riding.

Fall leaves all blown, drying trails and perfect weather for the weekend. DH fix needed? We deal in Tech Natural.
