Finals Results - Lenzerheide DH World Cup 2017
@Lurch-ECD: so your saying Minaar wouldnt be on top if he was on 27.5.. I think the results would be the same.. Minaar is the g.o.a.t. for a reason and it isn't wheel size.

@deadmeat25: Tough sh!t. Deal with it. The fact is 29 inch wheels are not proving to be any faster or slower than 27.5.. It's still about the rider. That is why I said they are not necessary. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

That was insanely fast. Can't even comprehend how he was able to go that fast and not miss a turn. Mind blown..

Contrasting Fortunes: Vallnord DH World Cup 2017 - Finals Photo Epic
Both Danny Hart and Conor Fearon had me on the edge of my seat. Both of those guys were riding completely on the edge. It's a shame Conor couldn't keep the rubber side down the whole way.

@atrokz: Sorry to say it looks like we wont have a choice in the next year or so. If you want a new downhill bike in the next couple of years youll be stuck with a 29er. The worst part of this is if you like your 27.5 you won't be able to find wheels or a fork in a few years. Just like what happened to 26.
