I am looking to buy a Trek Session 88, and it is an XL. I am 6'2" with a large wing span. Will this bike be to big for me?

There's little difference in the height of them, but reach changes. I'm only 5'9, but with a 32" inside leg and a +6 ape index and I rode a medium and it was perfect, XL sounds about right at 6'2".

It honestly all comes down to personal preference dude, my buddy was 6'2 and road a medium session 88 because he found it easier to throw around.
