50/50xx are nice pedals...with threadlock on the screws, long pin set and good shoes they are grippy and do not fall apart

the 5050's are nice but not that grippy and the system falls apart pretty much, even with lock tite.

v8's are good, however the pedal body is very small...

ridden both and get 5050's

much better

take it from someone who has ridden both

5050's bearing system is nicer than the v'8, but 5050's can fall apart pretty easy, unless you use perminat lock tight.... the 5050's platform is cosiderably biger than that of the v'8, 5050's are grippy with the long screw set or long pin, while v'8s will always be grippy.... it goes eather way both are good petals

I'm riding v8's right now, and I absolutely love them. I'm going to get v12's for my next set, because if the v8's are this good, how much better are the v12's?

The V8 and 50-50 are totally different. The V8 is a much smaller body, but you'll regret getting the 50s

ive ridden both too and i like the v8's alot better, i find they have more grip and there pretty strong too. my buddys 5050's that he rode didnt feel as solid and didnt have much grip.i would go for the v8's or even the v12's.

definatly dont get the 5050. i have them. and i regret buyin them. ive owned them for about 3-4 months, and mine have no grip and the pedal body wobbles around on the spindle. if ur choosin outta the 2, go for dmr. but im sure there are better pedals out there other than v8s. mayb wellgo's or somethin

i bought the 5050xx too and mine are dead after a season they have no grip expecially when wet, there heavy, they fall apart easily, i would suggest looking at some bmx pedals maby cause im ordering a set of 1664 magnesium shaved beaver trap sealed (really long name but watever) and right now i have a set of animal hamilton pedals with half the pins missing and there more grippy than my 5050s
