Hi guys! I have just ordered my Capra Comp 2. I just thought it would be good to have a thread where capra owners can share photos, make suggestions/ recommendations, share concerns or faults, ask questions and chat about the capra!

Happy riding! Smile

I am an owner...

I just haven't got it yet, the fact that the money is out of my account is making the wait agonising Blank Stare

What bike do you have at the moment Luka?

I have a norco aurum which I love. I started out doin xc when I was about 4 wit my dad on natural stuff and old school trail centres but I haven't had a bike capable of going up a hill (excluding road bikes) since I was about 11 so I'm very fortunate to be getting the capra as my first all mountain bike.

I was looking at a few 2013 bikes that are on offer now but after realising how much I have upgraded on my aurum I decided it would be a good idea to spend a bit extra for the capra which I won't want to change anything on.

I have a 2012 Norco Sight which is heavily upgraded I recently put a full xx1 grouspet on it, which is a brilliant bike i've just recently been doing a bit more downhill oriented stuff and the 140mm travel just isn't enough.

So when i get the Capra i will most likely put the xx1 on it and sell the racface/x01 drivetrain.

But the majority of the time i ride trail centres and natural singletrack trails, i want a do it all bike and from what i've read the Capra is that bike, the spec for the money is insanely good.

I was looking at upgrading the suspension to a pike and monarch combo but for the amount of money that i was going to spend and the fact that they don't do the pikes in 140mm it made more sense to get the Capra.

Sweet! Ye I was in the same situation with suspension. I was looking at a zesty 314 but thought after I have put a pike on I will be spending as much as the capra anyway and even then it would only be 150mm/140mm with xc wheels and long stem and narrow bar.

It just baffles me that the bottom range capra is equal to a mid to high end enduro bike from most other brands for the price of the frame only from a different company!

Yeah exactly it is insane when you look at the price of a SC Nomad frame only £2700, how can they justify the frame being pretty much the same cost at the comp 2.
