I have a Transition 29er, what happens if i were to start riding with 27.5 wheels? Is there a disadvantage?

This question keeps coming up! My advise, don't do it! your bottom bracket will be way too low. Imagine dropping it about 1 1/2"...... all bad!!

Putting 650's in your current whip, or switching bikes?
What'll happen is you'll notice more bumps.

You will seriously regret it

Women will throw them self's at you, your boss will give you a pay rise, your friends will respect you again, and you will look ten years younger. But you bike won't handle right and you will have a crash and undo everthing you gained.

biggest issue is your bottom bracket will be severely low, and only usable on only the smoothest of flow trails and fire roads. also, wheelbase will be proportionally too long, head angle too steep/not enough trail

for normal 27.5 that is. if you're looking at 27.5+ a la wtb's offerings, then might be fun times (I haven't enjoyed my time of fat bikes and plus size tire bikes as of yet)
