Everyone screenshot anything they have, texts, Pinkbike messages, if anyone has a screenshot of the original ad then that would be great too, also report it to action fraud

It's a start.. which account did he have you pay to ? I paid to Barclays...

Ive kept screen shots and got Barclays account details and informed the police. I can't believe how many people he ripped off and I can't believe I was so stupid.

If all this information could be forwarded to the police, then we will have a single contact to relay further information. For those who were contacted on a blocked number, if you give the police your telephone number that you were contacted on they can get the number that rang you from the network... If we put together a list of the accounts that have been paid to, the banks involved can be contacted and the accounts frozen... It is very likely he has stripped out the accounts, but just in case he hasn't...

Halifax in Wigan... a pattern is forming
All these accounts require proof of residence (utility bills) to set up, if he has used his home address he is stupider than i thought....

Same Barclays branch as i paid to, but different account no. If you haven't already, contact Barclays fraud dept explaining your concerns and get them to freeze the account pending investigation... They are contactable on Sunday.
