Hi,

I was trying to align my brake caliper by holding the brake lever and tightening the bolt. During the process there was brake fluid leaking from the caliper itself.I removed the brake pads and checked the pistons. One side of the piston was protruding and it was crooked. I push the piston back with a bit of force. Im wondering is my caliper toasted?

Have you ridden it recently?
If you pushed back the piston and it works fine right now I wouldn't worry about it.
Maybe the seal is going bad. How long have you had the brakes?

That Is interesting. IF they work fine and don't worry about. As long as you pushed in the piston evenly it should be fine... I think....
are both of the brakes SLX? check the other one how it is supposed to be maybe that will yield some answers.
Or at the very last warranty them if you think they need to be.
