That would be interesting if Kona took on the DW...they just teamed up with Therapy components to develop thatother design.

The Shocker uses a variant of the Giant Meastro design...the two links swing in the same direction, rather then the opposing directions that the VPP links swing.

I bet DW is moving on to a smaller company.

the question is, what magical linkage will the elves create that the entire of pinkbike can get stupidly obsessed and aroused over!? Now that the DW link is soon to be no more, porno mag sales will go up 346813681368361%

This will obviously upset world economy and we shall all turn to ferret farming and milking in a hope to suvive a nuclear winter.

It's not gone. Sam is leaving IH he likes it so much. Should be VERY interesting to see what company is going to dominate next year. Especially if it's pivot or Ibis.

Do you know for a fact that Sam will leave ironhorse? I know his contract will be up at the end of this year. And is it for sure the right guy confirming that the DW is in fact leaving ironhorse? I'm just curious. It will be a major loss for iron horse if its true. And I'd like to see Sam stay on iron horse. He has a good team, and support, and he's been riding ironhorse for like 5 years..

We don't know for a fact that Sam Hill will be leaving IH for 2009. What we do know is that his current contract with IH ends at the end of this year. Also, he has said that he will be riding a 2008 IH Sunday WITH DW-link and not one of the new 2009 Sundays without DW-Link.

Dave Weagle and IronHorse split ways way back in 2007, this has been floating around for quite some time.

Not really news. Most of the industry knew before interbike. If you don't believe me go check any of the forums that DW frequents. He talks about it readily. Yes Sam WILL be riding a new non-IH DW-Link bike this summer.

I gurantee Sam WON'T be riding a new non-ironhorse DW link bike this summer seeing as he has a contract with ironhorse until the end of 2008

Yeah. You're mistaken. Ask Dave if you don't believe anyone else.

Syndicate would be vastly superior if Sam Hill joins it Wink

So your saying Sam Hill will go against his contract with IH that he has signed to be riding for them through the 2008 season?

I believe his contract was through the 07' season on an 08' bike. Either way I can 100% guarantee he's going to be on the new non-IH DW-Link bike this summer. I can try and find a link to DW talking about it somewhere if you want.

That would be great. Cause I have an old mountain bike magazine at home that states, Sam Hill has renewed his contract with IronHorse and will continue riding with them through the 2008 season. It can't get much clearer than that, And I would love to know where you are scrounging you information from, you talk as if you have Sam sitting beside you. Yet you have no evidence of what you are saying.
