The stock rotors keep warping & I am also thinking of going up a size in the rear. Giant Reign 1 2015, 200mm Front & 180mm Rear. Planning on 200mm or 203mm front & rear. Any suggestions?

Get the SRAM centerline rotors. Work great with the guide brakes. Also SRAM brakes and adaptors use the 200mm rotor. You'll need a shimano adaptor to use 203.

Thanks, ended up getting the XT86 203 rotors front & rear with the right adaptors.

Hi man, what is the right adaptor for this set? I've already ordered my rt86 203 rotors, and wondering which adaptor must I use?

Thanks
Konrad

Depends on the bike & fork but for me it was Shimano SM-MA F203P/P

Just re-use the SRAM ones if you just went from 200 to 203 rotors, and add a couple of washers. Cheaper and will work just fine.

I went from 180 to 203 so I need to buy new ones. Fork is Yari Rc so I think this adaptor will work for me too. Thanks Wink

Hi,
Just to make sure.

Can I use a Shimano adaptor on Sram Guide brakes?

I would like to use a 203mm rotor too.

Thanks

I did, no issues so far. Just have to get the right size for your bike & fork.

I would like to use 203mm rotor in the front instead of 200mm.

I currently have a 40mm post, I guess I would need a 43mm... ?

Just tried to install Shimano Ice tech 203 rotor on the front using Shimano SM-MA-F203P/P which was fine with my XT brakes but now I am running Guide R brakes and the adapter is too large for the Guide R caliper leaving little contact on the pads. Does anyone know of an adapter that is slightly smaller?

that would be the SRAM +20mm adapter for 180mm post mount fork.

180 + 20mm adaptor for a 203mm rotor? That's going to come up short. The Shimano SM-MA-F203P/PM is what you need.
