I was looking at getting a sanction for like enduro and dh races,
Do you know the strengths and weaknesses of the bike??

I know it's an alloy frame rather then carbon if that matters to you. I've heard nothing but great things about this bike tho. Climbs well and descends even better. 65 degree head angle and 170mm fork is like a mini dh bike.

Okay, this has really helped me.
Does anyone know the frame weight with the shock??

I ride a Sanction Team and it absolutely rips downhill. It isn't super efficient on the uphill but that is mostly because my Float X2 doesn't have a climb switch. But seriously, on the DH it is amazing. Frame weight w/ a Fox Float X CTD Factory Series is 7.9lbs for a size large. I highly recommend the Sanction and the build on the Team model is super reliable and purpose-built. And its top-end where it counts (such as suspension and rear derailleur). My medium Team is 32.3lbs stock.

It's double up what mistermtb was saying. Tolerable climber, and ripping on the descent. My self built medium Sanction with Lyrik is 29.2lbs.

I believe there was a shootout somewhere online in which they test 15 Enduro bikes and rank the Sanction as the best descender.

Ah, this looks like it: http://www.mtb-mag.com/en/comparative-test-15-enduro-bikes-back-to-back/

Thank you so much guys !!!!
Will be looking for one on here straight away

I want it as a bike for bike parks and dh races but also maybe other things.
This explains why I'm not going for full dh

Check spares availability in the UK. Loved my old model sanction and the current one looks brilliant, but waiting 4 months to get suspension pivots would prevent me buying a gt again.
