The threads don´t match, the same goes for the foot nut, and some other parts. I had a special top bit made that fit the RS threads, hacked some other parts, and in the end it works out quite well.

Haven´t had the chance to ride it yet, but it feels really supple in the beginning, and the range of adjustments from the RC2 seem to work quite well.

Was there any motivation for doing it other than "why the hell not"? Any particular trait you were after?

"Why the hell not" was definitlely the main motivation. I´ve been mixing and mathing different RS CSU, lowers, dampers, spring(air or coil) for a couple of years, and the a used RC2 damper unit was up for grabs in the buy/sell section. I had to do it.

Cool af but I wonder if there’s enough bushing/stanchion overlap with a 26” CSU and a 29” lowers?

As long as you stay under 130mm of visible stanchion above the seals, it´s not an issue. It´s the same as when running the stock 26" in the 160mm travel mode, and I´ve made sure to never run less overlap than that.

This is the pre-production frame. Easy to take apart and put back together. Looks are a departure from anything else but not bad in my opinion. First full production frames will be coming in to the shop at the end of Feb to early March. A few pre-orders have been sold which is cool. The guys who bought them said they blew they're current SC Hightowers out of the water. I was pretty surprised to hear that seeing how they have super nice build kits on them. I am excited to ride one this spring and see for myself. I got to throw a leg over the test mule and it felt like a bike... lol

Indeed very interesting, but $6000 for a zero-series frame and fork.....that's a bit stiff, to say the least!

On a different note, do you know how heavy it is?
They seem to have forgotten to write that in the specifications.
