My LBS just installed my brand new dropper post. When slowly dropping the post, it makes a squeaking sound throughout the travel down. Is this normal? Will it go away after it "breaks in"?

Check if the seatpost collar isn't overtightened

Yes my seat collar is not overly tightened. I asked SRAM about the issue and they said this is normal and should disappear when the post breaks in (crossing fingers).

Hi This is totally normal with the new posts what you are hearing is the new rubber style ifp move up and down as you cycle it.
