Am still in the process of building my 2017 Dartmoor 26player. Does anyone know if the spindle length of any bmx 3pc or 2.5pc cranks will fit the frame? I’m in doubt whether the spindle length is enough or not. I tried to purchase a Deity Vendetta 3.0 cranks with a 6 inch spindle, unfortunately my order didn’t push through. I hope someone can clarify this to me. Thanks!8)

What cranks are you using? I can purchase profile race cranks with 6 inch spindle locally. Is it rigid or stiff enough to be used on street/dj? I’m quite hesitant to purchase one because I don’t know if it will survive the abusive use of the ride. As far as I know the cranks are used for racing only, and not on jumping. Correct me if I’m wrong.

They are Profile Race w/ 6 inch spindle.
I know they're called "race" but that is what most BMX'ers (even street/park/trails riders) are using. So, "race" doesn't mean just for bmx race bikes.
Is it heavy to pedal a 28 / 13 gear ratio with a 165mm arm length if I will use my bike for street/dirt and commuting? Or would you prefer a 170mm / 175mm arm length? Thanks guys!

I am rocking 25/11 with 165 cranks and wouldnt want much easier of a gear.

28/13 is a very normal gear ratio for 26" wheels.
Crank length doesn't change your "gear ratio" at all. Gear ratio is literally just a fraction comparing a front gear chainring to a rear gear cog.
It does change your "gearing" though--i.e. long cranks do make a particular gear ratio easier to turn. But, I'm not quite sure exactly how much easier. This article below says a change from 170mm to 175mm cranks makes it 3% easier. Not a huge difference.
Then there are other issues like, for not-tall riders, long cranks may be more cumbersome and end up being slower... I think it's better to pick a crank length based on your height, stance, style of riding etc., THEN pick your gear ratio. The trend in BMX right now is shorter crank arms for a more feet-together stance. I think that makes sense in DJ as well. But, not too short, so you feel like you're on a little-kid bike. So, like 165, 170, and 175 are the most popular. People seem to be moving away from 180's. (I used to run 180's, and now I definitely like 170 and 175 better).
