Bump. I’m curious as well, it’s between this and the nomad 4 for me. Has anyone been able to get their hands on the headset cups that let you run a 64 hta? I think I would enjoy the rearward axle path, the extra slack (with cups), and extra squish over the nomad.

Yes 9 mo. now. I have quite a different build tho.

Climbs good
Smashies over everything.
Great for bike park and my local trails.
Its my all in one go to bike.

i got one on the way. Not many left. Interesting running a 40 on it. Nice for the uplift. Id almost keep a spare fork. I think the rear can handle anything. How is the 1x12 on climbs? Worth switching over from the 1x11?

No luck with sub 40mm stems on the steep, Back to 50mm and bike seems dialled for dh/park.

Putting my SX build together and was able to get a few measurements. What are you guys seeing as far as HTA? Bike is rated at 65* but I'm getting 62.7 with a standard headset and 180mm lyrik.

Mine has a 170mm 29er fork and its slack at 62. I stayed under the recommended max for axle to crown that Commencal recommended for the frame.

Thanks for the info. It looks like they aren't close to 65* from the factory. That's okay with me!

I still might run it as a mullet in the future just to see.

My supreme sx with a fox 36 29er 170mm now at 64deg with a Plus size dhf 27.5.

Liking the way it rides with a 27.5 plus on the front. Got so many wide 27.5" wheels lying around would be a shame not to try it.
