Hi!

I have a 2017 YT Jeffsy in medium and have been looking for storage solutions for ride essentials. I found the blackburn outpost corner bag at REI and it seemed to fit the bill. Figured I'd post this in case anyone else had been looking for a similar product. None of my google searches turned up a Jeffsy with a pack on it.

I was easily able to fit my multi tool, a tube and 2x 20gram CO2 cartridges. Theres a bit of extra room for other stuff (need to get a spare chain link etc.)

Cheers!

Not a terrible looking solution. I want to also have something that goes into that wasted spave by the seattube gusset. Mayne some sort of storage doors for a sandwich.

Had the same issue, the horizontal attachment point of the front suspension is a pain when you try to find a suitable frame case.

I ended up with a 2 bags solutions, using cheap bags from Decathlon:
Jeffsy frame bags

* I put a saddle bag in the lower front triangle (the specification says 2.5 liters, but placed like this, it must be 2 liters maximum, waterproof). The bottom is fixed with the provided velcro passing accross the derailleur and rear brake cables, the top with the clip attachment going around the suspension shock. Price: 20€.

* A frame bag going behind the saddle (1.4l, NOT waterproof), fixed with the 3 provided velcros. The big plus is that the dropper post is totally usable, no risk of friction with the tyre when dropped down. Note that this bag could fit in the top of the front triangle too, but barely, and the suspension lock is not very accessible with this placement. Price: 10€.

NO just NO.

let the air out of the shock and compress the suspension. it will wreck the rear bag totaly and the one under the shock will rub like hell.

Just wow. Kudos for improvising, but that looks like disaster in the wings. The first solution was decent. Or, you could just forget all the nonsense and wear a backpack...

Please post a video of the results. Or leave all the air in and try a huck-to-flat big enough to bottom out the shock, and post a video of that. Wear your helmet!

And indeed, just went out to test with a few jumps, and the rear bag is in the way. For the front triangle, surprisingly, it works great, no clearance problem (at least if not filled too much, I putted some soft stuff in it, 2 t-shirts).
So I ended up with another placement for the frame bag, not so aesthetic as the first try, but it works.

I plan a trip to wilderness scotland, without assistance, and so my backpack is already well sized, I try to find other storage solutions for small stuff Smile

lol, I post a photo of the new placement instead Wink

PS: I ended up with another attachement solution for the front triange -saddle- bag, here a photo with the shock empty, no clearance problem, nor contact with the shock:

bag placement of the lower one looks grand now. upper one time will tell and depends on how you ride.

Of course. This setup is for a long ride (multiple days), for shorter and harder rides, I will definetively remove the bags, and just ride with a camelback or a trail bag! It's kind of small bikepacking solution!

Oh, much better than that back of frame bit. And not having the lower one tied to the shock is probably a good thing. Yeah, for a bike packing trip, I get it. You can always hang stuff off your bars too for that sort of thing.

I like that triangle bag, tene.

I live in the desert, drink like a camel while I ride, and pride myself on not stopping once I’ve set out. I actually like a good hydration pack, and don’t see why some people are so opposed to them?

Can you provide the height of the bag? From the longest edge to the peak?
thanks

I really prefer this Aduro Sport Bike Frame Bag. I recommend you try it because it can carry your wallet, mobile phone, charger, bike pump, and other bike accessories conveniently. The bag has a very simple triangle design that covers half of the frame. It is made of strong polyester material. It is both water and weather resistant to protect the items inside. It has three adjustable velcro for easy storage. With its strong and stable structure, my belongings will always be safely tucked inside the pack while I enjoy biking on the road.
