I’ve seen several videos of people building homemade “manual trainers” in the last couple of months. They look like a good training tool that would help you figure out the balance points for a manual or wheelie; they won’t teach you to do either a manual or a wheelie, but it does look like a good way to hone your balance in the float zone.
Although there are plenty of build and test videos for these “manual machines”, I haven’t seen or heard from anyone who has used the trainer and then followed up with their progress on the street or trail. Does the training transfer well to actual manuals or wheelies? Has it helped anyone dial in manuals way faster than previous attempts?
