Throwback Thursday: The Flying Circus - Back When Skinnies Were Everything
Great throwback! I'd love to see a slow-tech renaissance. Skinnies and ladders are such a great way to maximize short trials or add some variety to boring trails, in addition to keeping your tech skills honed. Keep things low-ish to the ground (maybe not 25' up) and build optional ride-arounds or B-lines and you can add so much fun to a trail. My family of four all has different riding abilities, so I get fired up to ride an optional stunt. I get to session a fun feature, maybe my boys join in, and sometimes Mom gets in on the action too - fun on bikes and everyone's a winner! Well, everyone's a winner until a $359 derailleur gets munched, but you can't win 'em all.
