Anybody put a 150mm fork on their Spider?

What was the outcome - still climb OK and keep its signature pop?

Did you keep the shock at 200x51 or go longer, add Recluse link etc?

Haven’t tried it yet but I was actually just thinking about doing this too. Planning on switching out the air spring on my Pike with a 150mm or 160mm. If I went 160mm I’ll definitely also move up to 140 in the rear with the Recluse link like you mentioned. Hope you get some answers for the both of us!

I am interested in this as well and want to know the specs for upgrading the Spider to 140mm. Do you have to move up to a 7.875x2.25 shock when moving to the Recluse Link? I believe the current shock is a 7.875x2.00 for the 130mm travel.

If you have a RS fork you might feel the added height in your seat angle but I bet you’ll get used to it. But 160mm fox will work great because it has a lower A to C.
To increase travel get a 57mm shock. The recluse link is only needed with a fox x2 shock. Monarch rc3 should works and fox xpx2. I’m not 100% but believe the DVO(forgot the name) will work with stock link. All great upgrades
Cheers

Slowly enduro-ing out my Spider. Swapped out the fork to a 2020 160mm Pike, Recluse link and 200x57 DPX2 arriving next week. Riding more with a group of YT guys on heavy sleds who struggle uphill but bomb downhill. Trying to strike a balance – I'll report back.

Any update on the 200x57 shock and recluse link on the spider? How did it go?
