I'm looking for info on good riding in Portugal. My friend and I are going to Madeira in May to race in the EWS 100. After the race we are going to fly to Lisbon and we will have close to a week to explore. Where are the great trails in Portugal?

Definitely Sintra, next to Lisbon. Small mountain packed with trails, easy to pedal around, microclimate creates incredible conditions in one ride you can do dust/mud open dry trails and shaded jungle like stuff

Lousa as WC DH venue. Big mountain loads of tracks, many shuttle companies
