Anyone done this with a bike in a bag?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks, I think it’s going to be in the same ballpark, but I want to reduce my carbon footprint.

St Pancras -> Gare Du Nord -> Gare de Lyon -> Chambery -> Bourg St Maurice.

Got to Bourg about quarter to eight in the evening.

Main pain is getting a bike bag from one station in Paris to the other.

Have fun. Morzine is hard to get to by train.

Eurostar say they aren't taking bikes at the moment https://www.eurostar.com/rw-en/travel-info/service-information/coronavirus-and-eurostar-service . Maybe you could sneak it on anyway though if its boxed.

Yeah and no notice of when it’s going to restart.

Struggle to imagine how it would get on the train in a box, it wouldn’t fit through the scanners.
