I disagree...been visiting for decades and it's better than ever...esp with the opening of new lifts..it used to be a trip to avoriaz or Chantel was an all dayer...now it's a few mins away.
Yeah it can be busy but many of the lifts now can take 4 bikes and run fast n smoother

Exactly...I'm here all summer, cheap chalet right in the town square...it's just the best central/starting point...I rarely ride in Morzine but in a few mins I can be in lindarets, Chantel, champery, Les gets....overall it's still the best in Europe maybe the world

There's plenty of tech trails .you prob just don't know them...fir example both the left n right trails down super M have tech alternatives that run either side of them, it's just that most people use the main runs, les gets black canyon run is also mostly overlooked.
And as you found out there is great unofficial stuff, I visit every for for while of summer n never look at a map...
