Reduce Lyrik Travel to 140mm?

Wondering if it's possible to reduce the travel on a lyric to 140mm?

Doesnt show up as a possibility on the RS website, but I was thinking that maybe I can just throw a shorter air shaft in there (since Pike and Lyrik use the same ones) and have a hella stuff trail fork.

Any reasons why this wouldn't work?

the lyric and pike air shaft are different
but
just use a yari one as they are the same as lyric, the stanchion is thicker on a lyric than a pike.

the damper will be ok with this too.
