I’m thinking of buying a new full face helmet and I’ve been looking at this one for a while and I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I am into heavy downhill and free riding but don’t have a lot of money. Can anyone who has this helmet tell me is it’s worth it or not?
Thanks,
Harry

I have it but yet to crash in it so can’t comment there. It’s a bit weird feeling compared to my old very padded urge down-o-matic, but once it’s on cinched down, it’s really comfy, it fits but there isn’t much padding inside.
I’ve done full days at bike park wales without uplift (so full day riding up and down) with no issues. I mostly ride trail so if I was doing mostly DH like you, I’d be looking at the d3 or similar.
With that said, the mt500 is fully DH certified so I’m sure it’s up to the job.
Hope that’s useful

It is lighter and more breathable than my open face helmet, comes with extra pads and bits, and looks pretty fricking dope IMO. I would have preferred the black colourway but the green is super cool too tbf
My full face
Here's a pic I prepared earlier.
