I've read the previously posted threads... and am hoping someone else is having the same issue I am.

I'm 5'6", and am trying to decide between and XS and a Small Glory DH. Anyone else in the same boat? I've never ridden a bike with as short of a top tube as a XS Glory, but often find myself wondering if I'd like a shorter TT than my current 22inch EFTT on my current DH bike (but I really like my current bike). The Small will probably fit the same as my current rig, but I can't find an XS to sit on and try out.
XS TT = 19.7 inches
S TT = 21.9 inches

Riding background -
Live in Colorado, ride all over (whistler, tahoe, etc). I ride like a racer (was expert for many years, semi-pro for 2 seasons) and have been a pretty nimble pinner, but I've been getting into more "fun" lift assisted riding lately. I still do 1-2 races per year, but have been taking more alternative lines and jumps the last couple of seasons.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I agree go with a small....you may even consider a medium...since you have a race background and might like a little more room in the cockpit.

Definatly stay away from the XS

i would look into teh glory fr if your not racing as much and jumping more as its built more for that style of riding save a few bucks aswell

i had the first year glory and i had the small, i am 5'7 it had a 20.5 inch tt, i ran a 70mm stem because i was to cramped, and even with the longer stem i still felt to cramped

Thanks for the feedback -
i recently tried a size small, and even though the website says a small glory has a 21.9 inch TT, it felt way too short. infact, i measured it and the ETT is only 20 inches. Not sure what giant has going on here...
My Yeti has a 22 inch ETT and feels perfect. looks like i'm back on the prowl for a frame.

thanks again all!
