I spoke to my lbs last Friday. I asked when she was expecting to get 2021 models and if the trance 27.5 will he updates. She said their Giant sales rep stopped in earlier that day and said that there will be a new bike that will be between the current Trance and Reign. She didn’t say what wheel size and if it’s the new geometry update or if it’s a new model coming out. She also said Giants ordering system shows all new orders coming in December 2020. The rep said many models should be in before then but with logistics issues world wide, they are being cautious on availability for the fall.

I don’t care about geometry changes but I really hope the Trance 2 (27.5) comes back to the US this year. That looked like a great spec bike for the price everywhere else in the world!

Yes, my LBS is telling me December as well. I hope they make an announcement soon. I think they announced around this time last year.

Still possible\hope there is a new model to match the other XC\Trail bikes - the Anthem itself is still race whippet.

I was able to pick up a 2021 Giant Stance 1 from my LBS on Sunday, 6/28. I think it was divine intervention as I was just going in to look and they had the exact size I needed. It's this incredible deep purple color called "Rosewood" that just stands out. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
