Actually looking at retiring her though. Parking her for the winter months, insuring as a classic, and using as a summer month cruiser. Just have to find an affordable replacement.

Sweet truck, is that a 79? What's under the hood, 351?

Hey thx for the complement
It's a 77. When we got new bedsides we had to convert to the newer (78-79) style gas hatch. And yes it has a 351 under the hood, I woulda preferred something a little bigger (429/460) but the engine only has 40k on rebuild so it's alright.
I would also like to point out that it is made in Mexico. It is made in one of three plants at Saltillo Truck Assembly in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. There is another one in Fenton, Missoury and another in Warren, Michigan.
It recently made a 2,000 mile roadtrip from Monterrey, Mex to Miami, Florida, with my bike on the bed.
Although I have tremendous respect for Chevrolet, this truck is definitely worthy of my respect, very reliable and powerful (345 hp)
