Just wondering if anyone has one? If so what do you think of it, I know its a heavy bike but the geo looks spot on and the mullet setup is interesting. Could be a fast bike and relatively inexpensive???

I've got one, haven't got t ride it yet. But it's a nice looking, smart spec bike for the price. I cut the shock stroke spacer and got 174 mm travel.

Here are the tweaks I’ve done so far:
Maxxis Minion DHF 29X2.5 front, Maxxis Agressor 27.5x2.5 rear
Cut my bars to 760mm
New ODI Grips
Adjusted flip chip to high- much better less slack more front end control and it raised the BB at least 5mm so slightly less pedal strikes

The Status is a ripper of a bike, it is definitely a little more playful than the SJ Evo and feels just as capable on the steeps, but the SJ Evo might have better general trail manners...just!...Depends on what you are after!

Looks sick and sounds like a sweet bike! I'm going to build mine up very similarly to yours. Apparently the new DPX2 is a good improvement over the last version. Do you know approximately how much your bike weighs?

Just finished a park day on my status. This bike is something very special. I've never fallen in love with a bike so fast. It can plow, carve and send it with the best enduro bikes out there. Just not a pedal mashers bike cuz it's so plush.

The dpx2 I had on my SJ Evo and standard SJ felt relatively supportive yet felt harsh on the fast square edge hits so at a guess they have tuned back the HSC?!? Either way I prefer the dpx2 more so this time around, but only once you get to those high pressure that seems key and gets rid of the wallowy feeling(for me atleast).
What sort of pressures are you at?
Not a bad weight for a sturdy rig.
