Too expensive at the start. I want a fs asap, because I currently ride a dj on trails and the climbs suck.

def will. I dont change my dj from when I use it at the skatepark to trails, so it has ~50 psi in the tires, a semi hard fork for trails, soft for dj'ing, and its a massive difference from my friends fs when I try it on trails. Much more confidence inspiring with the fs.

Have a look at the Bird Aether 7, it sounds exactly what you're looking for. They've kept the cs short to keep a playful poppy feel to the bike.
