Hey everyone,

I wrote an article about Specialized's new Demo/Enduro suspension patent. The change is slight, but this patent does incorporate a long travel E-bike. So, we might be seeing a Demo or Enduro E-bike soon. This was just released on Dec 1st, so like everything I try to write, it should be the first look (I hope). Hope you enjoy it!

And then when gearboxes are widely adopted as per Yeti's patent it will all need changing again as there is no space to fit both a motor and gearbox. Idk why these companies don't cut to the chase already, bikes soon going to be hitting north of 40lbs, attaching motors and gearboxes, wider and longer forks ect, instead of these incremental changes causing design complications they should cut straight to the point and make an underpowered electric motocross bike because that clearly seems their intentions long term....meanwhile I'm happy riding a 'bicycle'.

O+

There’s a pretty huge difference between a 50lb ebike and a 200+lb motocross bike.. although something in the middle of that with an actual throttle does sound pretty cool...

Yes im pretty sure this will be the next iteration of the kenevo next year maybe?
The jump from gen1 to gen2 was significant, what will gen3 bring? I think the geometry is perfect and I can't see how a new bike could be better than it is currently.
Exciting and potentially expensive times.

These light e-moto-x have been a thing for quite a while.

Don’t forget the pedal kit under grade:

Offering a Sur-Ron made Pedal kit is for those who find the need to pedal their Sur-Ron without any provided electrical assist. This kit is not ideal for any type of off road or light trail riding and requires basic bicycle maintenance, but if you are worried that the Sur-Ron is throttle only, this kit will allow you to physically pedal the Sur-Ron.
