If anyone knows what causes dropper post wiggle and or how to fix it let me know. This seems to be a wide spread problem between me and my riding friends.

you mean dropper post play? where you can turn the seat a little and it can sometimes rattle?
usally its wear in the pins(keyways)
If using a oneup post, they make oversized keyways for this reason.

What brand? SOme brands like SDG and Giant use nylon keys that wears rather quickly but can be replaced rather easily.
