Field Test: 7 of the Latest & Greatest Enduro Bikes Get Hucked to Flat
@warrenmtb: i Get what you're saying but, In the space, where they are most commonly used etc they are referred to Dual Clamps/dual crowns even by the makers, again by how many clamps on the stanchions.

Field Test: 7 of the Latest & Greatest Enduro Bikes Get Hucked to Flat
@warrenmtb: However, On the World cup Where i was a mechanic for 10 years, We all called them dual clamp or dual crown because of them dual clamping to the tubes. - As you can imagin We spoke to jordi often - I blankly asked him one day about it and he said regardless of its Moto heritage and far as MTB/dh is concerned they are dual clamps in our Usage. Im believe Martin from Rockshox Told us he calls them dual clamps... otherwise the fox might aswell be quad clamps...he said you only count the Stanchion clamps. so maybe on the pinkbike side we can call them triples but from the guys that make and work on them, ill happily call them what they are.. dual clamps. thanks

Evolve Announces Canadian Made Origin LT
@HeatedRotor: I Dont want to be Involved haha, I've done my fair share of attempting to share my thoughts... but thanks for the mention. As for reference, You are 95% right, Chain stay length directly effects how your suspension reacts to Every hit, It also tends to flex alot more and it feels like the middle of the bike "sits in" more and more often - Feels like you need to run high compression and rebound to make it stand up but then comes the effects of those changes aswell. If its any help: theres a reason most brands dont make Long chainstays... and im not getting into why.

Video: Welcome to the 2022 Enduro Bike Field Test
@plustiresaintdead: they made the CS longer but took it from the reach... so the wheelbase is still out of control for the kinda bike they are trying to sell. all they had to do was drop the reach and go 435 ish with the chainstay's. making sure they decrease the front centre to re-weight the front wheel(if they intend on keeping the slack as HTA) The SX still feels weird to ride, I own both the AM and SX framesets in large. I always wanted a 475/480 reach AM. The still SX has the same feeling you get with the AM which is similar to the way the Sentinel rides, you need to sit on the bar to get any proper grip when hauling ass on anything thats not double black
