Have any ripmo owners or ex owners upgraded the OEM handlebar to a Riser?

I got the Ibis Carbon bar on my RAF
not liking it that much. Frown
I think I should have stayed with the Alu version, and upgrade later to an other brand

I have a 50mm rise Spank bar on my Ripmo. I assume you have some question.

Yes, how does it feel? My previous bike was a yeti sb5.5 and the front end felt higher, now with the ripmo it feels lower so I was wondering if a riser could help me in that way, but also want to know if that compromises the performance of the bike as it was designed for a flatter handlebar as it comes OEM.

It rides fine. I was using a 35mm stem, but just switched back to a 50 to move me forward just a bit. It still climbs well. It will just come down to how your weight is balanced on the bike.

When riding last weekend I felt like the 50mm stem with 50 rise bar gave me a nicer attack position for downhills, while being better on uphills, than the same bar with a 35mm stem.

This is what it looks like now:

You can see that I run a good amount of spacers under my stem. Unless your weight distribution is very strange, I think you'll be able to adjust things to be fine going to higher rise bars.
