Here is an odd one;
Came across a rider today with a flat rear tire. After a quick chat, he has it under control with a spare tube and a pump. I rode with a group on a quick 15 minute loop and the stricken rider was still there upon our return. His 'spare tube' was faulty. No problem, I gave him mine. I asked him if it was a puncture or 'snake bite' pinch flat. He looked at me and said "shark bite." I gave him a quizical look and he explained what he found. Being in SW Florida the ground is full of former land and sea creatures, he had actually flatted because of a sharks tooth puncturing his tire and tube.
I've never seen of or heard of anything like this happening before. (may be an alligator or crockodile tooth)

Very interesting. Definitely a sharks tooth, thinking Mako. As a kid I hunted sharks teeth with a passion when we went to the beach, learned alla bout them. I still paruse the beach for teeth when we go and have an eye for finding them in the surf. Thia one found him. Ha. Definitely a keeper.
