Hi all. I am in the market for my first mountain bike and have been searching for a size large, full suspension bike with at least 150mm travel in the front, mostly for trail riding with the occasional downhill excursion. Looking to spend up to $2500.
I've negotiated a deal to purchase a used 2015 Santa Cruz Heckler for $1500 with a couple of repairs and was hoping someone with a bit more experience and mechanical knowledge could help me do my due diligence. I've got a bunch of pictures of the bike here:

The seller provided the following info about the parts/maintenance:
"Aluminum Frame, Large - Front and Rear shock - RockShox Pike (150) FOX Float CTD Evolution (150) - I got both serviced at least once a year, sometimes twice beginning and end of season - Brakes - Shimano Deore M615 - work fine but brake lever casings are a little exposed. (see photos) - Tires - Maxxis Minion DHF in the front, Maxxis Aggressor in the rear. New-ish tires, maybe 10 rides on them. Both 27.5" tires. - Shifters - Shimano SLX M670 - The left shifter is broken and that was just over time it happened, but I got a part in to fix that - Drivetrain - 2x10, SRAM X5, Shimano SLX M675 - Chain - Relatively new maybe 15 rides - Swapped out chains when I saw it needed it - Deity grips and pedals."
He also offered to make the following repairs as part of the $1500 price tag: -Swap out the left shifter -New brake pads -New chain
Any help assessing the condition of this bike or the purchase price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!
