Going to morzine 29th august ill 3rd September

Looking for some information or advice.
We are planning a trip to morzine 29th august until 3rd September. I've looked online and most lifts are still open until 5th September but some close on 29th August and portes du soleil stops on 29th August. Just wanting to know if anyone has been before around about that time of year. Is it really awkward getting around the other bike parks? Because portes du soleil has stopped how do you get lift passes, are these just bought at the stations each time?
We have only ever been in the middle of summer not that late in the season so unsure of the changes.
Any info would be appreciated!!

Can't add much , only to say I'm in a group planning to head down during the same week... I expect the normal area lift card will still be available.

Are you driving down ?. I think the possibility to load bikes on a car and head to Chatel etc.. is important.
