Hi could anyone please point me in right direction of a set of brakes that will be an easy replacement for the shimano br-m447 brakes that are on my bike
Cant seem to be able to find anywhere that has them
Disscontinued maybe ?

It would be very simple to fit almost any alternative Shimano brake set. Providing you're not changing rotor size it's just a straight swap to fit.

Cheaper end of the scale would be some MT200's. I'd recomend a set of MT500's which will give you better feeling servowave levers as a noticable upgrade and will work with whatever rotors you have now as they use the same pad type.

I don't know your exact set up regarding shifters so I'd say avoid the brand new type brakes which are a different lever design and i-spec EV compatible as they might not fit well with older band on shifters especially ones with gear indicators. Wink
