Lol, Oh yeah. That simple job turned out be a big headache.

Yeah, cut it off with an angle grinder. The RF X-Type bb lasted less than a year so wanted to replace it. Crank removal tool twisted and destroyed the crank arm thread. Tried everything to remove it but it was totally seized on. Even once I cut through the arm I still had to hit it with a mallet to get it off the spindle! All original stock parts so still not sure why it was like this. Did replace a bb for a Buddy with the exact same Ride crankset and that was fine so put it down to a rare one off. :)

It's a head scratcher when you put something back together and wonder why all those parts are left over. Hope you got it working Buddy. ;) :)

Lol. I'd have followed them for an hour or two also, for their own safety....obviously. :)
